Is this false advertising?
Is it event subject to change without notice . I don't know. Disneywoes found
out what happened, and sadly it all seems to be a cover up. From a
quick visit in July (after having witnessed Fantasmic with no Dragon) We
heard from a cast member who was out of uniform saying, "The Dragon didn't
want to come out of the cage, but we hope we can coax him out soon"
Disney talk for its not working yet. I figured once I went back on
my next visit I would see it. Of course as you already know it didn't.
As another show went by with
no Dragon and only 2 days left until the big event was over, I started asking
questions of the Cast members. The first cast members I asked, "Where is
the Dragon", they stated, "Oh it's only at DisneyWorld". Hearing this
made be want to call them out as liars. Instead I simply stated
to them, "I have already been told it is supposed to be at Disneyland and
that the Dragon has been let out of its cage meaning it isn't working, is
that true?" They responded with quiet surprise with a "yes".
Was it all a publicity stunt? Was
there really a new mechanical Dragon? Who knows. What I do know
is this was a big cover up and I don't appreciate being lied to by Disney.

From my recent trip to Disneyland in August of 2009, I was thrilled that Disney was updating their shows. They made Dumbo fly again and Tinkerbell move across the sky during the fireworks. This was a pleasant change since we haven't seen a flying Tinkerbell in a few years.
The true excitement came when
I found out that the Fantasmic show on the Rivers of America was updated.
New High Definition Projection and a brand and a brand new "Dragon" which
we know Malificent turns into in the final moments of the show. Sadly
however, The Dragon must be dead because all through the summer Disney advertised
on TV and radio everywhere.
